Not entirely sure I follow your comments. We have seven members of our Blog Team, all who contribute. Not one posing as seven, but seven actual people. If you are referring to the comments about the blog posts; nope. Those are all real too.

Hi, Andy! It may be possible that you have not factored in all of the different flavors associated with our Sweet Deals menu.

24 total products available on the sweet deals menu:
- 6 flavors of sundaes
- 6 flavors of soft drinks
- 3 flavors of dipped cones
- 4 types of chicken wraps
- 1 size fry
- 1 cheeseburger
- 1 size onion ring
- 1 side salad
- 1 hot dog

With the potential product offering mix in mind, we approached the problem using an equation that provides total “combinations with repetition.” The equation for each Sweet Deals product offering is:
(n+r-1)! ÷ r!(n-1)!

Since we have three Sweet Deals offerings (2 products for $3, 3 products for $4, or 4 products for $5), we add up each of the available combinations within each offering:[(24+2-1)! ÷ 2!(24-1)!] + [(24+3-1)! ÷ 3!(24-1)!] + [(24+4-1)! ÷ 4!(24-1)!]= 300 + 2600 + 17550 = 20450

This accounts for potentially purchasing multiples of products, like two hot dogs as a combination or even 4 soft drinks of the varying flavors. I hope this helps!

Here is my deal - I'll fix your math. There are only 6561 combinations with 9 items and 4 choices, not 20,000. That should be worth some free food!

Oh! I am so sorry -- I know this is frustrating when you are hoping to take advantage of a special deal! The Sweet Deals are offered at DQ Grill & Chill restaurants and DQ Brazier restaurants, and at those restaurants that are participating in the promotion. I hope this helps!

I saw the commercial on TV about the sweet deals, googled the DQ sweet deals, picked out what I wanted to order (cheeseburger, onion rings and a dipped cone), drove to DQ, and they said, no, sorry, we don't offer those deals here. So I left. Very disappointed.
