We only had one car ans some times my mom would take Dad to wrok and we would go pick him up. They had a giant stem whistle that blew to signallunch time and end of shift, It made a huge cloud of visible moisture when the blew it. It was a great thing to see. Sometimes my mom would let me go to the DQ right across the street or sometimes we would park in the DQ lot and she would let me spend a dime on a 5 cent cone with chocolate topping, A Brown Derby they called it. It was quite good but I was surprised that it had chocolate in it too. Would have preferred it without the chocolate. Also would have preferred the banana's to be better blended into the ice cream. They always know that I want a Cherry Vanilla Diet Coke and a Kid's Sprite for my grandaughter. Also, when my Shih-tzu comes along, he loves DQ's yummy bacon!!!!!
