Fans, this is a good week. Very good. Because when you buy one Blizzard Treat at regular price from a participating DQ® between August 15 and August 21, you can get a second Blizzard Treat of equal or smaller size for half price. Did you feel that sudden change in the room? You’re breathing faster. Your body temperature’s rising. Your heart, pounding in your ears. You’re focused and alert. This is the most alive you’ve felt since, well… you’re probably having a hard time remembering much of anything right now under the circumstances, so I’ll let you take care of the business at hand. Do, however, check back in and let me know what kind you got! I like to compare notes.

Saving + Blizzard sale = more blizzards [ it's pure genius & simple math ] I mean just yesterday I got my blizzards for myself ( like everyday as usual ) and I already knew who to thank since I saved my wallets mouth since I am on a little budget but always have enough for blizzards. Too bad I can’t get them for free like you ah well one can dream.

I was in the calhoun dairy queen and I bought 5 blizzards on 8/15/11. They were none by one get one half off. My bill was a little over $15.00 for 5 small blizzards. Was this store nnot one that is participating?

I absolutely love the strawberry cheesequake blizzard with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. Definitely the best! :)

Would be nice if you indicated a way to confirm participation other than calling around to ask. Since none of the three DQ locations in my county participated in the CMN miracle day, I’m just going to assume they’re not doing this one either.

So do you have to have a coupon, or do they just offer it if you ask for it? Was just thinking about a blizzard earlier for tonight.

If only this ad were true. My husband & I went to DQ last night and they refused to give us 1/2 off the second blizzard because we did not mention it before the sale was rung up. The girl working there said her manager told her she was not allowed tell customers about this sale unless they asked first. Ummm…. there were huge signs everywhere, should we have to specifically “ask” for the deal when the only thing we oreder was 2 small blizzards? She also told us she could not refund us our money. We have been enjoying this DQ for about 20 years – but will never go to another DQ again.

You do not need a coupon, but you’ll want to check with your local DQ before going because not all locations are honoring the special. Thanks!

Not all locations are honoring the special. For any location that is running the special, you will not need a coupon. My guess is maybe they thought you were referring to the Blizzard Fan Club coupons that go out 6 times a year.

I ordered blizzards today and got them buy one get one 1/2 price but they did not do the blizzard flip i told them wanted it free they said they said they do not do that and never will what is up.

PLease, please I have been waiting patiently for possibly the best blizzard EVER! the Zero blizzard…please…love love love the blizzard…and the rock n roll falcon!

The majority of DQ restaurants are independently owned and operated franchises and many policies are set by the restaurant owners.

I also heard the ad on TV and went to DQ tonight, But they do not have this in Canada but who knew!!!! Buy one and get one at half price.

This lady in Planview, MN that works there, the red headed lady, is sssoooo rude!! We went there last week on Thursday and we waited ssssoooo long for our food! It took forever! Then that red head was sssooo whatever because there was some cats outside looking for food and water so we gave the cat some of the hotdog my brother didn’t want and he ate that up so we go inside and ask if we can have a cup for water to give to the cat. So she says no way they have been here for a couple years and we haven’t fed them since so she wouldn’t even give us a cup for water! Terrible service!!! So then we go over to SUBWAY accross the street and get a CUP OF WATER for that poor little cat! Boy, we showed her who is the boss around here! And once again DO NOT BUY STUFF FROM THE PLAINVIEW DAIRY QUEEN!!

So I work for DQ. I’m one of the lucky to be working in my familys owned one :D go family, but this buy one get one half off is killer!!!! but i love DQand always will!!!
