I am 12 years old and I loved the cotton candy blizzard and i was ordering the cotton candy blizzard and they said ” Sorry there is no more is there somthing else you may want?” and I would really want you guys to bring it back a lot of people may have loved it as much as me but i guess got something different because maybe they wanted to try somthing new. I would really love it if you bring it back!

Please bring back the cotton candy blizzard. Carolyn K could you please let us know as to why they have discontinued the CCB? Even for the just the summer…it could be hte blizzard of the season.

Hi, Jonathan! The Cotton Candy Blizzard was offered as a limited-time offering off and on over a period of several years. While you are not alone in your passion for this Blizzard flavor, at the same time this flavor did not sell very well the last time it was offered. While there are no current plans for the immediate return of this flavor, we all know how much you and others love it. One never knows what will happen in the future!

My daughter was the model in the original Blizzard poster. She is now 36…….and still loves Blizzards.

Bring back the Cotton Candy Blizzard!!! I haven’t had a Blizzard since they stopped offering this flavor last year and I won’t until it is offered again!

At the beginning of every month, I run to the computer and go to Dairy Queens site only to be disappointed to find that the Blizzard of the Month is not the Cotton Candy Blizzard. Please bring back the CCB!

I, too, miss the cotton candy blizzard! I’m curious why it’s no longer offered…It’s essentially rock candy/sugar crystals and I can’t imagine it costing as much to make as your usual mix ins (fruit, candy bars, etc.)

I grew up on DQ, then had a hiatus until I went to a shop while in college. I tried the cotton candy blizzard and was HOOKED! Maybe there’s a way to distribute smaller batches of the crystals since you say that there isn’t that much of a demand.

One of the only other reasons I come to DQ is for your dipped cones. I absolutely love the butterscotch and cherry dip flavors, but realized it is not available at most shops. Why is that?

Anyway, I appreciate the company’s response from earlier…And it seems as though several of us are stumbling upon this page because we’re craving our cotton candy blizzards!

Mari, I am sorry! I know how much you and all the other passionate Cotton Candy Blizzard fans loved this treat. At this time there are no plans for its return, or for it to be available regionally.

The butterscotch and cherry cone dip toppings are available for all DQ stores and restuarants to carry in the U.S., however each independently owned and operated store and restaurant determines whether they will carry the flavor. The Butterscotch cone dip topping is no longer available in Canada.

DQ definitely needs to bring back the Cotton Candy Blizzard! I mean, come on, basically every comment on here is about bringing it back. I’ve been lucky only once to see it come back at a local DQ, but then they discontinued it again! I would even buy them just to keep them in my freezer if I had to. Please bring it back! :) )

Emily, I am sorry! It was a limited time offering each time it was offered, and at this time there aren’t plans for the Cotton Candy Blizzard to return. Please know we are watching and listening. One never knows what will happen in the future.

Any chance of the butterscotch dipped cone ever being available in Canada again? It is the ultimate. My husband and I miss it dearly…

the cotton candy blizzard was a nuclear explosion of flavor i was addicted , but now i must live without my demon this demon is all i dream about its what i think about when im watching a movie its the cotton candy blizzard. Hellp! bring it back they have to so many people want it its inebidible.

Please bring cotton candy back!!! My family and I won’t even go to dq anymore because there is no cotton candy blizzard! We go elsewhere for cotton candy but it’s not the same as dq! :(

My wife loved the cotton candy blizard flavor, we are like somone before me posted, we simply dont go to DQ now that cotton candy blizzard is not available. I have searched the net for DQ’s source for the mix and not sure where they are getting it. Some of us here I am sure would order online shipped to home for the flavor mix alone.

Hi, Amanda! The cherry dip hasn’t been discontinued, however it is offered at the discretion of each independently owned and operated DQ franchised restaurant. Let the management of your local DQ stores and restaurants know you’d love it if they carried it; depending upon demand, they may be able to bring it back for you. Also many DQ stores and restaurants carry the cherry-dipped Dilly Bars in their freezer section. I hope this helps!

Ummmm yea in my area everyone loved cotton candy blizzards and they said how it got discontinued. Now no one barley goes to DQ because of it. Is there a way to bring the flavor back?

I am sure you are honestly tired of hearing all of us complain about not having the Cotton Candy blizzard but I am one of those ppl who will slightly complain, I tried the cotton candy a few yrs ago on vacation and I fell in love with it. I came back home and was delighted that it was here too. Now at the time I was preg. (and currently am again) and I was craving my fav blizzard the cotton candy I had went a few days before and bought one well when I went back I was heartbroken and very disappointed when they told me they no longer had/sold it. Please take your customers opinions to heart and bring it back.

Honestly, the only reason I would ever step foot into a dairy queen is for the cotton candy blizzard. It would be foolish of you not to take everyone’s comments into consideration. It clearly is very popular. If anything, you’re losing business. I’m not telling you how to run your business either but please, bring it back. It’s so good :/

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the cotton candy blizzard! It is the BEST blizzard flavor…a close second was back in the old days when you could get nerds :) Who remembers that?? At any rate, I am even willing to wait till summer for it to come back, but I hate waiting. I am pregnant and seriously dream about them….they are so wonderful! Listen to all of us and give them another shot!!!

I too am a HUGE fan of the cotton candy blizzard. I have not been to DQ since they took them away “AGAIN”. I read in some of the comments that DQ says the blizzard was not a big hit when it was brought back. Maybe that is because the public was not aware that it was back. Not sure if the other Cotton Candy Blizzard fans are like me, but I wouldn’t know it was back since I don’t go there anymore. I bought one almost every other day. I have searched the internet high and low and inquired with DQ managers as to where the candy mix may be purchased. All of my searches have come up empty. So here is another unhappy DQ customer requesting the Cotton Candy Blizzard be brought back to life.

I too am a big fan of the cotton candy blizzard. I thought I was the only one who boycotted DQ due to no more CCB’s. I even drove an hour away on a few occasions just to get one at a DQ because mine (which is one minute away from my house) didn’t have them. It can’t be that big of a problem to bring them back for just one month out of the year. I have a family member working for DQ and the first thing I told him was to let me know when they’re bringing them back. Could someone please post a recipe for it? You guys have a good thing and you’re gonna make a lot of people unhappy if you don’t bring it back.

EXACTLY what Christi said March 13, 2011 at 5:23 pm… I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Cotton Candy Blizzard and that is the ONLY reason that I EVER went to DQ. Occasionally I will drive by one and pull up and see if they have the CCB but they dont and I say ok and leave empty handed. I feel as if you would promote it when it returns it would sell. Let the people know when you bring something back for a limited time and see what kind of response you would have. I would go there every day to get one, and say that I wasnt in the mood that day for a CCB i may even venture out and try a different one. But untill I get my CCB fix, we will never know. Maybe we should write to McDonalds and see if they will start a Cotton Candy McFlurry.

Unlike apparently everyone on here….. I’d be really excited if the Kit Kat blizzard was brought back. That one was my absolute favorite.

I was wondering if the was a list of all the past flavors offered as special blizzards of the month. I had one in the spring of 2004 that I can’t get off my brain. Haha, it doesn’t help now that I am pregnant and craving one some kind of fierce :) if anything do you know what it was called. It was some sort of sour berry or zingy berry. It was bright pink. Hi, Amanda! We don’t currently have a list posted — there was one for a while on blizzardfanclub.com — I will make sure to relay that we need a list like that again! My colleagues and I think you are referring to the Puckerberry Blizzard – that would have been 2001 or 2002. I am sorry! There are no plans for that one to return, and it is partly because we no longer have the special ingredients needed to make that flavor. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I was wondering if the Butterscotch Cone Dip is available in the United States….I’m from Canada, and my mother was obsessed with the Butterscotch Cone Dip and we travel to the states often.

Im sorry, but you guys seriously need to bring back the cotton candy blizzard. It was fantastic. Why must they always take away the good things! Same with cherry dip, i cant believe you don’t have that anymore. It was an original thing of DQ! please bring it back PLEASE.

I’m so sorry to report that the butterscotch dip has been discontinued system wide.

Rumor is the Cotton Candy Blizzard was a copyright infringement or somebody choked on the candie pieces, therefore they can no longer make it. Also the reason they will not give a straight answer on it.

As obviously stated before…. The cotton candy blizzard needs to come back..or at least share the recipe!! I havent been to DQ since they took it away..At least give your menu some diversity.. for the people who do not like chocolate!! Narrowing your customer base to only chocolate lovers is a poor business decision!! You should never limit your customer reach and the fact that customer satisfaction is not even on the priority list to run this business is concerning….

DQ you keep saying you are not bringing back the cotton candy blizzard because it did not sell well. However there are hundreds of comments here that beg to differ. If you refuse to bring it back at least tell your loyal customer how we can make it! Post a recipe on your website and make a lot of cutomer happy!!

I love the butterscotch dip and did read that it is not available at DQ Canada stores. Is this option, as well as the cherry dip, still available in DQ stores in the U.S. (pending local store operator discretion)?? Thanks very much…

Butterscotch and Cherry are not required products any further. So whther or not a store carries them it is entirely up to the franchise owner. Please check with your local stores to see if they carry these two dip flavors. Hope this helps!

I’m so sorry but our ingredients for past and present Blizzards are proprietary, so I am unable to provide this information. Not to mention that we work with many different warehouses that do not necessarily carry the necessary ingredients any longer. Again, I am sorry to disappoint.
