Blizzard treats in a blizzard
Posted by Blizz Prez under Blizzard on
Hey fans,
I got an email last week from a fellow Blizz lover that I thought I’d share…
My children, ages 12 and 14, were raised in the sunny state of Georgia and had gone to the same friendly DQ on Forsyth Road in Macon all of their lives — until we moved to Ohio in August 2008. Once they began to experience their first “real” winter, I didn’t expect many trips to the DQ, but even in the falling snow, they still wanted to go. So, we found ourselves joking about getting Blizzards in blizzards. Somehow, they taste as good in the Ohio cold as they do in the Georgia heat! -Anne
Wow! Now those are some true fans, getting a Blizz in a blizzard. Thanks for sharing, Anne!
If you’ve got a Blizz story to share, I’d love to hear it!

OMG! That Forsyth Rd. DQ is MY DQ!! Been going there with my fam for 13 years. That’s amazing that I read this story today!
I can relate. We live in Winnipeg, MB (not so affectionately referred to as either Windypeg or Winterpeg) where the winter temps are frequently -25 to -30 Celcius with windchills which take it 10 degrees colder.
My kids (11 & 12) and I are at DQ about once a week. There is just something about DQ icecream which makes the outdoors not feel quite so cold.
