Dairy Queen Girl Scouts Appreciation Week Was A Success!

Hi Blizz fans!
Did you know last week (July 20 -26) was DQ Girl Scouts Appreciation week? I’ve been getting emails from Girl Scouts all over (Kentucky…Kansas….states beginning with letters other than K) who hung out at their local DQ and learned about a running a small business from their local Blizzard Wizards. So awesome!
Wish that was around when I was a Scout! Did any Girl Scouts Blizz fans participate? Or if you’re a Girl Scouts alum, what kind of fun stuff did you do with your troop?

We used the coupon for the Tagalongs Blizzard and the ice cream cake (double yum!). Is there a coupon for the August Thin Mint Blizzard promo? We’re all screaming for ice cream, and we want to know! Yes it’s still summer, but bring on the Blizzard! (Who knew you could get brain freeze while eating Girl Scout Cookies?)
While a Girl Scout in Hays KS my troop went to Wagons Ho, I think near Quinter, KS. We rode in a covered wagon, attacked by “Indians” , our scout leader was taken, and camped out in the wagons and tents. It was great!! I love thin mints & was pleased that’s the flavor for August, my birthday month. Hopefully you’ll continue with the coupons, but could you extend the valid dates?

The girls scouts DQ blizzard with peanut butter tagalong cookies is the best ever! Please add it to the DQ menu permanently!!!

You can bring back the Tagalong Blizz permanently. Many good ones to choose from, but this was the first time I had the same one five times in a month.
Thanks for having Girl Scout Appreciation Week! Lots of us in NW Ohio went to try the new YUMMY Tagalong Blizzards! We even worked on the “Your Own Business” Interest Project too! Our local DQ is AWESOME! Can’t wait to get a Thin Mint Blizzard – got any more coupons for us?

Once, back in the day, I was a Brownie and eventually became a Girl Scout. Now that I’m older, I’m currently working at DQ! Selling the Girl Scout Blizzards brings back memories from the old days. I love seeing little Brownies/Girl Scouts coming in to buy them, explaining what kinds of cookies they are and what they have in the to their parents. I think you should take a vote- the Girl Scout Blizzards are very popular, and maybe could even become permanent?
