Who is Ken Hoffman? A Houstonian? A reporter? A Houston-based reporter? An ultimate Blizz fan? Yes. Yes. Yes. And yes.
But most importantly, Ken Hoffman is a man who loves chocolate and isn’t afraid to shout it from the top of a mountain of soft serve deliciousness – drizzled with hot fudge, of course. Which is what makes him a true Midnight Truffle Blizzard treat lover.

Wow, Ken, that was quite the ode to the Midnight Truffle Blizzard treat. And coming from a chocolate lover like you (really? A chocolate syrup faucet? We’re going to have to get one of those installed in the test kitchen). I know we must have tapped into the chocolate-filled veins of the true chocoholic Blizz fan. SUCCESS!

Sorry, but I didn’t like it. I am a SKOR blizzard lover, and have found nothing that even comes close.
The Midnight Truffle Blizzard is simply the best I’ve ever had! I really, really hope DQ keeps it on their repertoire. It was even better than my previous favorite, the French Silk Pie Blizzard. It’s absolutely sinful, rich, chocolatey, and so delicious; it should almost be illegal. But then I wouldn’t get to devour it!
Keep up the good work, DQ! I’m a Blizz fan for life.

OMG – The Midnight Truffle Blizzard was the BEST! I love my chocolate and OOOOHHH was it rich, creamy and the chocolate truffles were like mini pieces of brownies. A PERFECT mixture! Please keep offering it again and again. I used to enjoy the M & M blizzard, but I really like the softness of the chocolate pieces – MMMMMMMMMMMMMM. So now the Midnight Truffle Blizzard is my NEW FAVORITE. Thanks!
My DQ hasn’t had the Blizzard of the Month this month. Was all set to try it, but had to settle for second best and that was a dissapointment. Why is there such a diffeence between DQ places….thought they had to conform to DQ’s standard. I have been to DQ stores in many states and am amazed at the different prices and qualities. I usually order the same flavo at each so I think I am a good judge.
I LOVE this blizzard! I’ve had three of them this week and I swear I could eat one everyday! I hope they keep it. I also had fallen in love with the Brownie Batter Blizzard and have been so sad when they took it away.

The Mudslide used to be my all time favorite flavor! Now I think I have a new favorite! The Midnight Truffle Blizzard is the awesomest in chocolate flavor! I had mine made with chocolate softserve! I cant wait to try the new fruit truffle blizzard in May!
I had to try the new Midnight truffle Blizzard. It was the best chocholate fix i have ever tasted. IT was sooo good i had to make another DQ stop. Bring on the rassberry truffle.
I love blizzard all the times and midnight truffle blizzard is great taste than strawberry. I know about Tom,boss,from Willoughby Dairy Queen for all years. I told him about making cherry truffle blizzard for old people and they love it. wait for pretty soon. you will call Tom of Dairy Queen in Willoughby,Ohio.

where are the buy one get one free coupons? i used these every month. i would think that it would bring alot of extra business to d.q. please let me know if they are there and im just not getting to them , or if they have been removed.

so I just have to proclaim my LOVE for April’s MIDNIGHT TRUFFLE BLIZZARD! please please PLEASE make this part of the permanent DQ blizzard flavors! It is THE BEST!! I can’t imagine life without it. I need it; I’m begging you =( I am going to DQ tonight to get the rasberry truffle blizzard to try but I know it won’t be as heavenly as the midnight truffle one..oh well I will settle. Thanks!
When I and my freinds; Jack and Don were regular customers at the Brentwood DQ in 1978/79 in Calgary AB, we made our fist Blizzard “By taking a regular vanilla milkshake and adding cone choclate dipping sauce and mixing enough up inside so when you tipped it upside down none would spill”
I agree with Ken. The Midnight Truffle was the BEST blizzard ever. Please make it a one of the regular blizzard offerings!
i love thed the truffle blizzard . it was very good . and i think the truffle blizzard should be more than once in a year i think it should a couple times a year

Sorry I am most definately a crispy crunch blizzard girl…………But…….I tried a Caramel one somewhere one time they had as a trail…………with big chunks of chocolate and lots of caramel almost like a caramilk bar………….It was soooooooo yummy I kept craving it over and over……..unfortunately I was never able to get it after that time……….Mmmmmm Would be a delicious addition to your menu
I think this is the best Blizzard ever! I wish they featured this year round.
This was my favorite Blizzard. I ate it weekly all summer.
And now its gone.

I love being a member of the Blizzard Fan club but am very disappointed that by the time the e-mail announcement of the kick off of the mini blizzard tour the WI tour stops were already over. Oh, and to all those out there who said that the mid-west got the shaft… not really the south got less and Canada was barely represented… 2 hr drive big deal there are some states they aren’t going to at all!
