Yes. Just last weekend, Hubby and I rode thru our local DQ drivethru and ordered 2 quarts of vanilla ice cream to go. When the young man working the window handed us our order, he grinned and asked if we needed 2 spoons as well, or did we plan to wait till we got home. I just love our local DQ.

That’ snow way to treat a customer

This is quite embarrassing . . . my friend and I went through the drive-thru at our local DQ after a basketball game. We sat in our car for about 30 seconds, struggling to decide what to order, and when we did, I announced it loudly into the intercom, “We’ll have one M & M small Blizzard, and one Dilly Bar.” We waited and waited, and we could hear the person inside DQ say in a foggy voice, “Excuse me?” So I raised my voice and said again, “We’ll have one M & M small blizzard, and one Dilly Bar.” Again we waited and waited. Once again we heard this tiny voice say, “Ma’am????” And we rolled our eyes and I repeated my order a third time, quite impatiently and with a great deal of irritation. It was quiet for about ten seconds, and then a much larger male voice said loudly, “Ma’am, you’re speaking into the bird house. Could you please pull ahead 10 feet and repeat your order into the intercom????” We were so embarrassed we drove away . . . and laughed for miles and miles. We are still laughing today about this! (and yes, we are both blonde; however, we feel that the mistake had nothing to do with our hair!!!!)

Went out on a night that was a horrible monsoon…
