Hey Blizz fans,

Kim emailed me asking about a section where fans can suggest flavors or make a plea for an old favorites return. AWESOME IDEA, Kim. I’ll see what I can do.

But, until then, start COMMENTING. Blizzard brainstorm! What’s your idea of a perfect Blizz?

My idea of a perfect Blizzard is actually what I like to call a “Perfect Blizzard Night”. It starts by having dinner with my boyfriend (who happens to live a block from the local DQ), then we play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who has to do the dishes and who gets to walk down the street to DQ to choose the Blizzard Treats for dessert. Clearly the winner of the game is the lucky one who makes the DQ trek :-)

I think we should have the Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookie blizzard back. I enjoyed that one and it was the only one I ever got. Now they stopped making it, and I want to try ot get the blizzard back. :D

I have suggested this to r&d a few times but no bites, this blizzard has waffle batter powder and cookie dough, i call it either half baked, or batter up, you could also throw in some chewy baked brownie peices, just remember it was my idea!

I think that my ideal blizzard is well I have two One is a snickers blizzard with oreos’ that is so yummy and the other one that i just not to long ago tried was the chocolate extreme with vanilla ice cream not chocolate eliminate some of the chocolate chunks, but add snickers it is so good I actually think that I am going to go get one after I leave school.

My all time favorite blizzard hands down is the Cotton Candy one. I hope they don’t discontinue them. I also think that following the carnival theme…how about candied apple blizzard with chunks of the red candy apple shell and a touch of sweet apple flavor added to vanilla ice cream.

While I would never turn down a Blizzard my very favorite is a Chocolate Covered Strawberry. Bring it BACK! If it’s not on special, no one can figure out how to make it. I can hardly wait for it’s return.

I loved the Bubble Gum Pop Rocks Blizzard, and the Cotton Candy Blizzard was my Husband’s favorite.

This is so cool! I am going to tell all my friends about it. And all of my family, Uncles, aunt, sisters, brothers, cousins, moms, dads, and that is all i can tell sept for the whole universe!!

This is so cool. I am going to tell everybody i know including Mom, dads, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, second cousins, third cousin, friend at school.

While eating some gingerbread last Christmas, I had the idea that gingerbread cookies would go GREAT in a blizzard! How about it? :)

My favorite Blizzard is the Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzard. It is too scrumptious for words. I am always saddened when I reach the bottom of the cup and only my memories of just how good the Georgia Mud Fudge Blizzard tasted remain. Thanks for the memories DQ.

Banana pudding is the best! Since it has been taken away, I go to my Dairy Queen and order a “just” banana blizzard, take it to my table and crumble the vanilla wafers into it myself. I will not be denied my banana pudding blizzard!

To me, there is NO WAY you could perfect a blizzard when it comes to my choice!! I just couldn’t get enough of that Midnight Truffle taste! It is heaven!! Please send the recipe to the angels up there as I am sure I can have as many as I want and never have to worry about pounds, calories, etc ever!

Cotton Candy made a DQ fan out of me. I wrote DQ to see if they were bringing it back, I received a reply which said they had discontinued it, but are keeping a log of the number of comments they get about it. With that said, Cotton Candy lovers unite!! EVERYONE write to DQ about it!

My perfect Blizzard is peanut butter and marshmallow with extra peanut butter. No chocolate !
I usually go with my dogs to buy it because they are small and don`t eat too much. This Blizzard isn`t on the menu because I created it myself and I love it.

You HAVE to bring back AND KEEP the Hot Tin Roof blizzard, that was my alltime fav!! The Midnight truffle comes in 2nd

I will always be a fan of the Cotton Candy Blizzard. I’ve loved them since 2004. And I miss them terribly. Bring back the cotton candy. LONG LIVE COTTON CANDY BLIZZARDS.

The best blizzard would be a combination of rich chocolate and something orange. Maybe orange flavored jelly-belly’s or slices of the sugar coated orange candies. Mmmm that sounds heavenly!

Bring back the Monster Cookie and Cotton Candy Please!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE them and would drive out of my way to find a DQ if they were available!

My most favorite blizzard of all time is the Monster Blizzard. It seems to have a little bit of everything included. Yummie!

The Tin Roof Blizzard must come back! (please?) It was absolutely the most delicious one ever! My local DQ tried to replicate it (Thanks my friends!) by using peanuts and chocolate sauce, but it just wasn’t the same as the chocolate covered peanuts.

My favorites are Cappucino Heath which some stores still make for me, and the other favorite of mine and my kids’ is Cotton Candy! Wow! Those are both super delicious!!

About 17 years ago I worked at a DQ and there were two new Blizzard flavors introduced: Rocky Road with tiny chocolate covered marshmallows and nuts and a Mississippi Mud that had coffee flavoring, chocolate and almonds. They were both devine!!

The Rocky Road with the tiny chocolate covered marshmallows and the Mississippi Mud (I think that was the name) It had chocolate flavoring, chocolate and almonds. This was about 17-18 years ago. Both were awesome!

I count down the days until summer, then I pray that they will have the cotton candy blizzard on the menu!! When they do, then I go to DQ every night until they take it off. So good!

I love, love, love the Cotton Candy Blizzard! PLEASE bring it back! Every time I drive by DQ, I crave it, but it’s no longer there :-( ……

Please bring back the COTTON CANDY blizzard. It is my favorite and I look forward to it every summer. I hope that it is back soon… it’s delicious!

BRING BACK THE COTTON CANDY BLIZZARD!!!!!!!!!!! Where I live,and the surrounding cities, sold out during the cotton candy blizzard of the month in the middle of the month. We need it all year round!

I would almost pay any amount of money for a cotton candy blizzard, Please bring them back!!!! I was so upset they did not return this summer.

They used to have a pecan pie blizzard. Does anyone remember what the real name of it was? I’d like to ask for them to bring it back

I just came back from DQ and may I say am very unsatisfied with my rather sad Snickers Blizzard. It did not resemble the picture in the commercials in even the slightest sense.

I could barley taste the Snickers. I should’ve gotten a vanilla cone. At least I would be able to get some flavor or crunch.

My favorite is the Chocolate Covered Strawberry. It used to be the Hawaiian/Tropical combination, but after tasting the CCS, I don’t have anything else. FYI, most DQ stores can still make the discontinued flavors for you as long as they have the ingredients that make it up. I have had them do this in the past. If they don’t have the ingredient list and you know what it takes, they will make it for you.

hey blizz fans,ithink one of the all-time best blizzards ever were the plain old, blueberry blizzard. nothing added,but blueberries,and d.q. softserve refreshing,and a d.q. icon!!!!!

I absolutely loved the COTTON CANDY Blizzard. You should listen to your customers and bring it back. There’s obviously a very high demand for it.

Also, I agree with Erin, gingerbread cookies would be delicious in a blizzard!

What about offering a Taramissou? Blizzard? I think it would be delicious, although I can never ever get enough of the Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard – my all time favorite.

Please bring back the monster cookie dough blizzard back!!!! It’s my favorite cookie so naturally it’s my favorite blizzard!!! I’m making the cookies right now!

The Bubble Gum Pop Rocks Blizzard and the COTTON CANDY BLIZZARD. You really really really really really need to bring it back!!! That was the best. I stopped eating at DQ just because they don’t have either of those anymore. it’s so depressing. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!

I agree the cotton candy blizzard was really good and so was the whoppers one. It seems like whenever DQ puts something out that people like and request they stop making them. I actually just go somewhere else now so I don’t get hooked on something else that will just be taken away. DQ get a grip on what people want!!

COTTON CANDY BLIZZARD! BY FAR. please please bring it back for at least a month. i have had it since i was 10 or 9 years old. and i loved it everytime. i love this blizzard and there is a fan website about cotton candy blizzard. go to it and see how many people there are. there are 1000′s of people wanting the cotton candy blizzards. and for the sake of other people can you also bring back smores galore. but put it in seprate months. cotton candy first then smores galore. i would buy alot of cotton candy blizzards if you bring it back i will buy alot of it. please listen to our voices.

Oh man I miss the ROCKY ROAD BLIZZARD. I remember eating it weekly back when I was in high school. This was back in the late 90′s. Whenever I go to DQ I just keep hoping to see it back on the menu. :(
Everytime they announce a new Blizzard of the Month I hold my breath and hope that it’s ROCKY ROAD!!! Bring it back please!

My life was forever changed when the cotton candy blizzard was no longer sold at DQ! I could eat one of those everyday for as long as I live, they are absolutely delicious! Even people who don’t particularly like cotton candy love these blizzards! We need it back!!

PLEASE bring back the Monster Cookie Blizzard!! If I had known it was never coming back, I would have had one every day while they lasted.

I am disgusted by your decision to eliminate the cotton candy blizzard from the Dairy Queen menu. That was the only reason I went to Dairy Queen. I absolutely do not like any other blizzard, or any other menu item. I used to purchase a cotton candy blizzard every single day. Not only am I disgusted by the cotton candy blizzard not being on the menu anymore, I am appalled by your refusal to release a way to make a cotton candy blizzard in your own home. I no longer respect your franchise and am not interested in any other Dairy Queen product. Thank you for ruining my summer.

COTTON CANDY!!! Seriously, it would have to sell better than some of the others on the menu. When they had them I had to stop myself (usually unsuccessfully) from getting one every day. I never had the monster cookie dough or bubble gum pop rocks blizzard, but they also sound really good.

I am so sad i have no cotton candy blizzard that was the only blizzard I ordered from dq and now that they are gone what am i suppose to do i am blizzardless! :( Why?! Why dq? why did you take away my favorite blizzard from all of us cotton candy blizzard lovers? BRING IT BACK!:(

Please make the cotton candy blizzard a permanent menu item! It was my favorite blizzard! It’s the only reason I even went there. It was absolutely amazing. I’m so sad you don’t have it anymore… and it seems like alot of other people are to! It would be your most popular blizzard, 100%. Listen to your customers we need cotton candy blizzards! Your other blizzards aren’t even half as delicious! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!

I have been trying to get the Blizzmobile to come to the Official Home Of Superman Metropolis, IL because i believe that Superman and DQ Blizzards are more American than apple pie. Then I was struck by a super blizzard suggestion. DQ needs to create an apple pie or cobbler blizzard! What do you think of that idea? Everyone has heard of apple pie a la mode right? Most people put ice cream on apple cobbler too so i think an apple pie/cobbler blizzard is a definite no-brainer

I have been trying to get the Blizzard Mobile to come to metropolis, IL the Official Home Of Superman because nothing in my opinion is more American than Superman and DQ Blizzards. They’re even more American than apple pie. Then I was hit with a super idea for a Blizzard Flavor suggestion. Everyone has heard of apple pie a la mode and a lot of people put ice cream on apple cobbler. So why not create an apple pie/cobbler blizzard it’s a no-brainer really. What’s more American than apple pie than an apple pie/cobbler blizzard. So there I have given you a marketing slogan too. What do you think of that idea?

Braxton, I am sorry! We did have A Twix Blizzard years ago and I don’t know of any plans for its return.

I would like to see the cotton candy blizzard return for sure and all my friends and i have decied the best 2 blizzards of all time were the cottton candy and the twix blizzard please bring them back!!!!Please dq we the customers have spoke!!

Oh, Elisa! I am so sorry — clearly we have discontinued two of your favorites! At this time there are no plans for the return of either of these products. One never knows about the future, and we ensure our product development team is apprised of all requests.

Can you please bring the blizzards of the months to the permanent list like the pumpkin pie blizzard or the brownie batter blizzard. Pleassssse

I am another beloved follower of the cotton candy blizzard….it’s sweet sugary goodness in my mouth!!! Another one I SO dearly miss is one that DQ had maybe 10 years ago when I was in high school. I can’t remember the name of it, but I know it was grape flavored and had some kind of Pop Rock candy in it. MAN I MISS THOSE!!!!

COTTON CANDY BLIZZARD PLEAAASSEEE! I went to DQ July 1st because I was so sure that Cotton Candy was going to be brought back for flavor of the month. I was so disappointed to see Pecan Pie, which should be more of a fall month Blizzard! I thought maybe they removed the Cotton Candy Blizzard because I was the only one that purchased it but I see that is certainly not the case! I am dying just for a taste of the wonderful cotton candy!!

Could you please bring all the blizzards back to the menu and call it the great blizzard reunion for it’s 25th birthday gift (by the way nice new creations like the strawberry golden Oreo blizzard).

I remember about 8 years ago there was a tri-fecta of blizzards that came out… One has been on my mind since then. “Yukon Crunch” was the name of the blizzard, I’m begging for rice crispy treat blizzards to be come back. I’ve had one and I rememeber it from 8 years ago. thanks.

I was in a hurry at work and was making an Oreo CheeseQuake Blizzard for my girlfriend. Well in the rush I put in Brownie Pieces instead of Oreo. Best Mistake ever.

was on the site to see if there was any possible return of the cotton candy blizzard. I see you stated it didn’t sell well last time which is so surprising as I read all the comments on here and other sites from cotton candy blizzard lovers like myself. I actually don’t go so much now since it’s not there and I am not a big fan of chocolate or fruity blizzards. If I go I get the Butterfingers Blizzard and my kids get m&m’s. There was one DQ I knew of that even had cotton candy year round and although it was 2hours away I would plan trips a few times a year to stop there…Wish it would be a year round or at least a regular summertime special!! My husband does think it is too sickly sweet for him and that may be part of the turnoff for some but man, I just LOVE it!! And so do so many others!!!!

I would really be happy if you bring back my Favorite blizzard COTTON CANDY …..not everyone likes chocolate !
