Fan Review: Pumpkin Pie Blizzard

I can tell you up and down and upside down how much I love the Pumpkin Pie Blizz, but what I really love is hearing why YOU love it.
Check out Blondie and Brownie’s adventure with the Blizzard of the Month. They drove all the way from NYC to New Jersey, just to get their paws on this awesome autumn treat. Fantastic!

The pumpkin pie blizzard is my FAVORITE!!!!
BUT the guy at our DQ was very nice and gave me a pumpkin pie SHAKE!!! He said that they have pumpkin pie mix year round and if I want another one at anytime I could just ask for it. It was GREAT!!!! A couple others have tried it and also LOVE it. I think it should be added to the menu.
We don’t have a DQ in our area so we drove out of town just so I could get one. The pumpkin pie blizzard is a favorite around here and they were all out of pumpkin pie pieces to put in.

I love pumpkin pie and I absolutely love the pumpkin pie blizzard. But I have to question why this is the blizzard of the month for October. I feel that pumpkin pie would be a perfect flavor for November, and while October is the beginning of fall, a Halloween themed blizzard would be much more apporpriate and FUN! I think next year you should have a spooky blizzard related to Halloween. And save the deliciousness of pumpkin pie for November and Thanksgiving.
I agree with Buffy. When I think of pumpkin pie… I always think of Thanksgiving, which is in November. Why is the pumpkin pie blizzard the one for October?

Pumpkin in French is citrouille. The taste better when they are pronounced with a French accent.
Pumpkin Pie Blizzards are the GREATEST! We can not wait until fall every year so we can get them again, since they are only here for a limited time. My hubby and I drive over 25 miles, past 2 other DQ stores just to get the “good” ones. The other stores use flavored cookies and pumpkin pie flavor… yuck. The one we go to actually puts real pumpkin pie pieces in. YUM!!! Love ‘em.
Mary, the approved process for Pumpkin Pie Blizzard Treats is to mix Pumpkin Pie mix and pie crust pieces with DQ vanilla soft serve, topped with whipped topping and a dash of nutmeg. No ‘pumpkin flavoring’ in any DQ Blizzard Treats!
