“A Dairy Queen was added to the gas station by my house, I’ve always bought ice cream cakes from dairy queen. Two weeks ago I stopped for gas and tasted my first blizzard. It was a brownie one…….MMMMMM I’m a chocoholic anyway….and I am 53 years old……who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks….oh by the way I just finished my second blizzard…..French silk pie…..MMMMMM!” – Bonnie
“I was 12 years old I had my tonsils taken out I was so miserable and I felt like no knew how I felt…..Well my dad went with my mom and they brought my very first BLIZZARD!!!!!The flavor I believe was the HEATHBAR it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the middle of July and at that time we were leaving down south….” –Daniele
“I worked for Dairy Queen when I was 16 and that is when I had my first Blizzard. I love the snickers Blizzard and the oreo one too! That was the best summer when I worked there!!”- Justyna
“I was 3 months pregnant, and it was the chocolate covered cherry Blizzard. I then had to have one at least once a week. Yes, there were caloric cutbacks in other areas but well worth it. Still one of my favorites.” –Iva

DQ has alway been my favorite place to go get ice-cream and I don’t have a favorite kind of blizzard except for one kind that I’ve always had is the Oreo cookie jar blizzard. I think thats the best. DQ thanks for making my life.
Your #1 Blizzard fan,
Saleena
i remember the first time i had a blizzard, i was really young i can’t remember how young but my dad, my sister, and myself were heading to my grandfather’s house and we stopped by a dq for lunch. when we ordered the blizzards the lady that brought them out to us carried them upside down, we were shocked, and surprised that they stayed in the cups. and since then we’ve been hooked.
I worked at the Gassaway DQ when the Blizzard first came out. I will never forget having to make a cholocate one for by boyfriend’s dad. I did not get the mixer stopped before trying to remove the blizzard. That machine soaked me and all the windows in cholocate blizzard. I thought that man who placed the order would never stop laughing(he years later became my father-in-law). That was our little secret!
I remember when Blizzards first were advertised. At that time they advertised an Oreo Blizzard. When I went to order my Blizzard, I asked if I could add anything to it. The response from the person was Yes! So I had them add mint to my Oreo Blizzard. From that point forward, I ordered Mint-Oreo Blizzards, which were not part of the regular menu. As people heard me order it, they would say, “That sounds good!”, then proceeded to order one for themselves. Plus living in Minnesota, we celebrate the coldest day of the year by going to DQ for a Blizzard.
I LOVE DAIRYQUEEN IT IS THE BEST AND MY FAVORITE IS COFFEE
I believe the pumpkin pie blizzard should be given a permanent spot on the menu. You cannot go through life without having one of these amazing delicious desserts. Top notch!!
You should create a cherry pie blizzard.
You are my favorite ice cream place!
