Happy 4th of July, Blizz fans!

Hi fans,
Are you ready for the 4th of July? I’m so ready.
I’m headed to visit my family’s cabin – 6 hours away! The only thing is…there’s no DQ once I leave Minnesota. Eeeeek.
So, I had to take some drastic measures. My friend (and road trip partner in crime) had packed us a cooler filled with sandwiches, pop, apples….you know THINGS THAT ARE NOT A DQ BLIZZARD CAKE. So I unpacked them and now our cooler looks like this….
Yes! I’m taking my DQ with me!
So instead of spending the 4th soft serveless, I’ll be watching the fireworks with a cool slice of Girl Scouts Peanut Butter Patties Blizzard Cake. Mmmm….

My Dairy Queen doesn’t have the ice cream cakes. I would sure like to try one though. The town where I live doesn’t have a DQ either. I go to the next town over, about 25 minutes away, just to get my fix. It’s always worth it. Sometimes, while I’m there, I’ll even stop in and visit the family.
For the Fourth. I attended a local celebration. I was a finalist for the local radio station’s giveaway, so I had to go early. Didn’t win the above ground pool, the concert tickets, the money or even the T-shirts. I’m sticking with the blog giveaways. I do good with those.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to say, I can’t wait to try the new flavor. My DQ doesn’t have all the varities and is slow about implementing new ones. Right now, I’m stuck on the Brownie Batter Blizzard.
Omigosh the cakes at DQ are AWESOME! I love the soft serve twist also! Pretty much, I like evrything about DQ. Go Dairy Queen!
