It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane… It’s the Blizzard®mobile!

What has red spoon windshield wipers, red lips on the front grill, upside-down Blizzard® cups for rear-view mirrors and the ability to create a snowstorm wherever it goes?
Here’s a hint:

It’s the DQ® Blizzard®mobile! Our fully-functional brand mobile is currently touring the United States and Canada, visiting 25 cities from April to August, with approximately three stops per city.
All stops include handing out FREE world-famous Blizzard Treats in the brand-new Mini size (the Mini Blizzard Treat will be available in DQ locations this summer), as well as music and emcee interaction. Some events will also include the Blizzard Blaster–a giant, upside-down inflatable Blizzard cup with coupons swirling around inside. A person can go inside the blaster to try to grab coupons. And the forecast calls for snow flurries–the Blizzardmobile comes equipped with its own snow-making machine!
There is even a fundraising component during the Blizzardmobile tour for Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). CMN canisters will travel with the vehicle to collect donations throughout the tour, and the last two stops–on Aug. 5 in Minneapolis and Aug. 12 in Calgary, Alberta–will take place on Miracle Treat Day (MTD) in each country. On MTD, participating DQ operators donate $1 or more to their local CMN Hospital for every Blizzard Treat they sell in their stores.
For anyone not able to witness the Blizzardmobile in person, check out the DQ Facebook page. It will include photos, tour stop information, videos, commercials, webisodes and much more. Other elements on the DQ Facebook fan page include a “Capture the Cup” photo challenge, a Facebook “Photo Grid” where you can to tag your friends as the Blizzard Treat that best represents them, and the “Pick Five,” in which you choose your top five Blizzard flavors. good when is it coming to my house!?!?
How do we know where the Blizzard Mobile is traveling to?
That is just the cutest thing ever
Hi, I just wanted to know if the Blizzardmobile will be coming to Halifax, NS, Canada? I LOVE DQ, so I hope it does!!! :p
I just looked at the tour map on Facebook & saw it won’t be anywhere near my town. The closest stop will be in Atlanta, and that is several hours away from Jacksonville, FL. I’m surprised there’s no stop here in Jacksonville, because we’ve got lots of Dairy Queen locations. Maybe Florida can be added to the next tour ?
I have a question about the butterscotch used for Dilly Bars and sundaes. Is this the right place to ask? I don’t know! I’m wondering if they’re the same thing or if they’re different. Looking at the nutritional information I can’t really tell.
Thanks!
How Mini is the MINI? Does it finally reduce the portion to a size that allows for more frequent blizzard consumption from a caloric standpoint?
Sure, this is as good a place to ask as any. The toppings are different. And depending on whether you live in the U.S. or Canada the availability of the products are different. The butterscotch cone coating (used for Dilly Bars) has been discontinued in Canada; however it is still available in the U.S. The buttescotch topping (used on sundaes) has been discontinued in the U.S.; however it is still available in Canada.
To obtain the nutrition information for the U.S. products, go to http://dairyqueen.com/us-en/eats-and-treats/nutrition-calculator
In Canada go to:

I hope this helps a little!
I am sorry! The Blizzardmobile is visiting the following sites in Canada:
Toronto, Ontario, on May 17 – 18
Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 26 – 27
and the tour will end in Calgary, British Columbia, on August 12 – 13th.
I know it seems crazy! This is a 25-stop tour, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Blizzard treat. It is simply not possible to visit all the cities and towns that we would (and you would!) want to. The next tour? One never knows! We’ve only just started this first one….
Thanks, Megan!
I don’t have any of the specifics at this time, I am sorry! What I can tell you is that the mini Blizzard will be an 8 oz. serving, compared to 12 oz for our current small size. I hope this helps!
How can I see the blizzardmobile schedule if I don’t have facebook? Is it coming to Austin, TX?
You can visit the following link and you don’t need to have an account. http://www.facebook.com/dairyqueen#!/dairyqueen?v=app_102171994282
Yeah for the Blizzard Mobile! It was here in Normal, IL yesterday and the parking lot was busy with the Blizzard party going on! Thanks for coming to Normal and for the free Blizzards! It was a fun ending to the day!
Kevin — thanks for sharing! We are so glad to hear you had a good time!
this commercial for the blizzard mobile will only
encourage someone to try this stupid stunt. What does this have to do with selling blizzards. Can you not come up with something else. How many teens
are going to get hurt before you remove this commercial???
i would like the blizzard mobil to visit a small town like romney WV.I worked at the DQ when the blizzard first was started and I am still working at the DQ I would like to see the blizzard mobil visit us. we are a small town but the small town people is what makes a DQ grow. and we enjoy taking care of our customers, they become our family.
Hi, Rhonda! I am sorry — the schedule for the Blizzard Mobile has been set. I sure wish that we were able to visit every location we’ve been invited to visit.
I want to drive it!
That is awesome! Who did the build out on the truck? I’d like to see it up close… Thanks, Bo
i am a foodservice director at our local school district. Canfield schools would love the Blizzardmobile to our school. We have cook-outs in the spring and why not have the Blizzard mobile at our schools. The kids would looooove it!!! What a great way to get rid of the winter blizzard blues. . .
I am so sorry Terri, the Blizzardmobile doesn’t exist any more. It was totally cool, and I am sorry we cannot send it around your way.
nice car
How do we request a visit if there is a tour next year. We have a summer program with 220 Children that would really love a visit.
We had the Oscar Meyer Weiner Mobile visit last year and we are looking for a way to top that experience.
Cindy,
Thank you for getting in touch with us. I’m very sorry to report that the Blizzardmobile doesn’t exist any more. It was totally cool, and I am sorry we cannot send it around your way.
What happened to the blizzard mobile
Hi Richard,
So sorry to have to tell you this, but the Blizzardmobile has been retired.
