He says they took two things that people crave, Girl Scouts cookies and DQ soft serve and mixed them up for an ultimate incredible super craving that no one can resist. Ok, I might have added the ultimate incredible super craving part…

OH MY GOSH!!! Stopped in today (7/1/09) to try the Tag-A-Long blizzard. I had DQ add some peanut butter sauce with it. What a jaw dropping taste that makes you want more and more. Knowing the Tag-A-Longs always have been my favorite cookie with the Girl Scouts, I just knew this would be a taste I’d want to come back to again and again. YEP!!! I’ll be back again and again. Thanks for the new one!

Let me first say I love the addition of New and different Blizzards for each month. I loved the Thin Mint Blizzard and will probably love the Tagalong one now. Unforunately with the good the bad must follow along.

I was recenlty disappointed with DQ because they have gotten rid of one of my most favorite Blizzards. It was very upsetting to order a Reeses Pieces Blizzard to learn that it was no longer available. There was just something great about the little pieces of Peanut Butter Candy in the vanilla
soft serve.

I have spoken to other Blizzard fans that were extremely disappointed by this change. We would like this change reconsidered and have the Reeses Pieces Blizzard reintroduced.

Dear Blizz Prez,

I am writing, not to take you down as President of the Fan Club, but to put my name in as a contender for the position of Vice President (or President of Vices, and blizzards are vices!!). I have many qualifications which stand out above the other candidates, but one stands out above all others. My name! Blizz and Bliss! You see, blissful = joyful as blizzard = ecstacy!! Do you see the common elements here? the play on words? What fun we could have with this, and it could go on and on!! In addition to my being a joyful person, I have great skills in the office, being a former paralegal/office manager; I am friendly; I get along well with others; I have managerial skills, if necessary; I have college training; I am well rounded in my abilities and I love a challenge! I enjoy learning new tasks and I learn quickly. I have a “few year’s experience” at being 22 years old, so I haven’t forgotten what it is to be young and yet I also have the experiences of a much more “mature” person who can tackle whatever is put before her.

Do you see what is available to you here? You really don’t want to pass this up! It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to get the best V.P. you can get with the neatest qualifications and the added bonus of a really cool last name that plays well with Blizz. What more could you ask for? I have it all, and more!! Not that I’m bragging, mind you. I just want you to realize that these opportunities don’t come around every day and I’m sure you don’t want to let this opportunity pass you by.

Also, as a Blizzard Afficianado, it is my firm belief that the Coconut Cream Pie flavor needs to be revisited, as I know many people who have been saying that they would like to have it as a choice again, including me. It is one of the best flavors DQ ever had, and to let it get away forever would be a great loss.

I miss the cotton candy blizzard. Any chance of it ever coming back. Could someone ever just buy the candy that was in it?

I can’t help but tell you how disappointed I was when I went to my local Dairy Queen tonight and ordered the Tagalong Blizzard only to find that they didn’t have it tonight :( They said they “might have it tomorrow” – not cool!

I had a medium Tagalong Blizzard on Wednesday. It was just as delicious as I thought it would be. I plan to have one today to celebrate my Blizzard independence and my country’s independence as well. (^_~)

DQ. PLEASE bring back the Cotton Candy Blizzard. They don’t carry it at the DQ nearest to me and the closest location that has it is a 50 minute drive away.

I’d love for it to be on the permanent menu. Last summer everytime I’d go in for one they were out of either the dip or the candy so I know, FOR SURE, that it’s popular.

I’m almost getting desperate for one. And you know what desperate women are capable of.

Hi Elizabeth. To make sure only one BOGO is issued per Blizz fan, you can only access the coupon once. Sorry, Fan Club rules. But hang in there, there’s more coupons to come. Plus, you get a bonus BOGO for your birthday!

I have enjoyed all the flavors of a Blizzard so far, but the Tagalong Peanut Butter Patties one I was disappointed with the texture – not enough chunk.

Enjoy Blizzards with my family. DQ has gotten rid of a lot of reg. candy flavors such as nestle crunch and kit kat, which I love. The flavor of the month is often just a flavor (with a few exceptions) that DQ has all the time anyway, so I think it would be better if it was always a little different from the reg. flavors. One time the f.o.m. had one that had waffle cone pieces, chocolate, nuts and it was wonderful… never seen it since. Would like to see my favorites again…. also coupons give a great incentive to go to DQ!

Who ever thought of putting a Blizzard and a Tag-a-long cookie together, genius!! My two favorite things put together, what could be better????

I almost took this blizzard back, and I should have. It was AWFUL. Kinda made me sick. The chocolate got waxy and almost gummy, and not mix well with the ice cream. I cant see this one come back next year as blizzard of the month.

I was wondering why the Canadian and US Blizz of the month is sometimes different? For July the Blizzard of the month was the Tin Roof Brownie-which btw was BLIZZFUL!-instead of the Tagalong Peanut butter? Also I have to say the Tin Roof Brownie Blizz inspired me to FINALY comment on your blog-Ive been a Blizz Fanclub member for quite some time!! It was SOO GOOD!! I made my friends and family try it & they also loved it. Then I thought about having a requent Blizzard card for all the Blizzards I got that this past month! On second thought that would just be deadly, I think I would skip meals and just eat Blizzards hahaha Anyways, love DQ!! & I think your Spoon pen is a good thing, you should patent that!!

Sounds great! A definite must try. So far, my favorite Blizzard flavor is the Caramel Chip Cheesequake. Yummmy!

hello, i joined three times for the blizzard fan club, and not once did i get my coupon!:(. wondering how i get it?.

dumb, dumb and dumber —- Does Dairy queen have any brains — they get a discount on the purchase of girl scout cookies (the girl scouts didn’t sell as much as they should of) and you make blizzards with them and take away the traditional August cotton candy (fair food) blizzard. Satisfy your public not your bank account and bring back the Cotton candy blizzard. You need to appease the people – we are the ones that buy your product……no need to worry – I am working on a copy cat recipe —- you may see the cotton candy blizzard soon —- shame on you “Dairy Queen”

My plan was (literally) to go to DQ on July 1 and buy like 20 large Cotton Candy Blizzards and store them in my extra freezer so that I could ration them out and keep my fix for the year, but to no avail, so I waited until August 1, and still I see no COTTON CANDY BLIZZARD!!!

Please bring it back, if only for a day, then I will buy what I need and you can go back to whatever you want for the rest of the year.

Why does DQ keep making up new blizzards? Skor is by far the best one in Canada. Why don’t you bring it to the US?

In Canada, try and recognize your new treat as being associated with Girl Guides. Granted, we do not sell as many varieties of cookies but we do fundraise by selling cookiew.
Vanilla and Chocolate sandwich cookies and Chocolate Mint Cookies. I wish we still had Peanut Butter cookies but too many allergies.

The best Blizzard of all time is the Girl Scout Cookie Thin Mint with chocolate softserve. I could eat it everyday all year long.

I really enjoyed the Christmas special – candy cane and chocolate! It was the best – really we could have that one year around!

You NEED to bring back the cotton candy blizzard as a permanent menu option. It is soo popular.. and many people have been requesting that DQ brings it back. It was the #1 blizzards most of the other ones arent even half as good as the cotton candy one. Please bring it back!!

I too would love the Cotton Candy Blizzard to make a comeback as a permanent item, it was the reason I went to DQ! It should be the one with the little chips of real cotton candy, not the ones with sprinkles like some of my area stores tried to pass off, not very happy when I saw that and it made me stop going to DQ. I’d go back if the Cotton Candy Blizzard was back with real cotton candy specks!

I am sorry we have so disappointed you! This was a limited time offering, and has been brought back in the past. I do not know of any plans for its return any time in the near future, however I do know that our product development team is aware there are passionate Cotton Candy Blizzard Fans like you waiting for its return!

Can’t seem to figure out how to print bogo coupon out. Having problems for a long time tried everything I know. What do I do? HELP!!!! I really do miss having that blizzard every month. I figured out I can’t use aol browser but still having problems with internet explorer.
