Our last post announced the Blizzardmobile tour (It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane… It’s the Blizzardmobile!). Today we bring you some highlights from the tour’s official launch last weekend in Milwaukee, Wis. I love this video! Especially the picture of the dog getting a DQ gift card for xmas! I have worked at a DQ in St.Paul since I was fifteen, and have been managing for the past 3 years. It has been the best job ever. I am now graduating from the U of M with a degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Does IDQ offer entry-level, or internship positions in the brand or communications department? I love this company, and would love to contribute my knowledge to the organization. I especially like how DQ is getting more involved with social media to reach its audiences.

Our community Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a “BIG TRUCK DAY” event for children on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. We will have several “unusual” vehicles for the children to view, climb on, and enjoy at our neighborhood park. This park is conveniently located approximately 1/2 mile from our local Dairy Queen restaurant. We welcome and invite your BLIZZARD MOBILE to our event. We are approximately 30 miles from Downtown St. Louis, Missouri. This could be a celebration of Dairy Queen’s 70 years in business in Illinois! Our event is being held from 10 am – 1 pm at Glazebrook Park, located on Stamper Lane, in Godfrey, IL. Our community would be very appreciative if the Blizzard Mobile would come to town!!!
