Michael:
Fabulous message! Just a suggestion: you might want to use a pop filter when recording your messages. They are very inexpensive and can be found at any music store. It will cut out all that popping from hard consonants, which can be distracting.
Cheers!

Dear Sir:
Today I visited a Dairy Queen in Taftville, CT. There was a professional sign advertising cakes – “For the grad who’s made the grade.” As an English teacher for 36 years I have seen some unusual grammar, but not on the corporate level. Please check your contractions.

What happened to the Kit Kat Blizzard? I really liked this and would like for you to bring it back!!!!

The Kit Kat Blizzard was a limited time offering — I am sorry that it isn’t part of our current offerings! I don’t know of any curren’t plans to bring it back, however you never know!

I was wondering who the girl scout is on the blizzard commercial airing all the time. Can’t understand the out of body man when he yells.

I visited a DQ in Brampton Ontario a couple of weeks ago. I purchased this amazing log cake (torte). It was two layers of brownie cake, two layers of ice cream topped with whipped cream. The overall flavour was the turtle mix. We loved it but couldn’t purchase it in the Whitby Ontario store. Is there another store close to me where I could purchase this log cake? Loved it.

Did the sizes of the blizzard get smaller? I had the thin mint blizzard and it was not worth all the hype. I was not satisfied with my visit, what to service with a smile!

The Key Lime Pie Blizzard hasn’t been around for years — and it was a good flavor! It was a limited time offering, and I am sorry, I don’t know of any plans to bring it back.

Hi, Stephanie! This tune is original music scored for this commercial and it hasn’t any name. Thanks for asking!

Hi,
My favorite blizzard was the Cotton Candy blizzard. Are there any plans to bring it backv my family used to get one every Sunday and Wedneday. We are very disappointed. Please bring it back!:)

Diane, Please forgive the delays in my response to your post!! The DQ Torte Cakes are currently a product we are testing, and are available in very few test locations. I am delighted to hear how much you enjoyed them, and have passed your comments along to our product development team. Carolyn

Angelina, I am sorry! The Cotton Candy Blizzard was a limited time offering and was available off and on over the past several years. I don’t know of any current plans for this flavor to come back — I know this is disappointing news!

I was just wondering how much money was made off of the CMN blizzard day. I told everyone that I knew to go buy one because it was for a great cause. : )

Per a Blizzard Fan Club email dated 7/31/09, I’ve tried to vote for the Jan 2010 Blizzard of the month & the 2010 logo. Nothing I click on takes me to the screen to vote. Please help.

Thanks for supporting Miracle Treat Day, Vee! We won’t know the official total until all Dairy Queen operators send in their contributions, but our estimate for U.S. DQ restaurants is $2 million. Canada will also contribute to that total; last year $4.5 million was raised between the two countries.

I went into our local DQ and they told me that the cruch for Crunch Cones had been discontinued. Is that true? If so a very sad day!!!

With your 4,3 or 2 combos, the mouth says over 20,000 possible combinations. WAAAAY over—
109,734,912.
Useless fact of the day,
Steve

It may be possible that you have not factored in all of the different flavors associated with our Sweet Deals menu.

24 total products available on the sweet deals menu:
- 6 flavors of sundaes
- 6 flavors of soft drinks
- 3 flavors of dipped cones
- 4 types of chicken wraps
- 1 size fry
- 1 cheeseburger
- 1 size onion ring
- 1 side salad
- 1 hot dog

With the potential product offering mix in mind, we approached the problem using an equation that provides total “combinations with repetition.” The equation for each Sweet Deals product offering is:
(n+r-1)! ÷ r!(n-1)!

Since we have three Sweet Deals offerings (2 products for $3, 3 products for $4, or 4 products for $5), we add up each of the available combinations within each offering:[(24+2-1)! ÷ 2!(24-1)!] + [(24+3-1)! ÷ 3!(24-1)!] + [(24+4-1)! ÷ 4!(24-1)!]= 300 + 2600 + 17550 = 20450

This accounts for potentially purchasing multiples of products, like two hot dogs as a combination or even 4 soft drinks of the varying flavors. I hope this helps!

Hi, Nancy! Nope, the crunch coating has not been discontinued; however, it is not a topping that DQ stores and restaurants are required to carry. Because of that, the management of each independently owned and operated Dairy Queen restaurant determines whether or not to carry the crunch coating in their restaurant. I hope this helps!

I visited the Dairy Queen in Garden City Georgia today. I ordered the Peanut Buster Parfait. I was very surprised and dissapointed to find Beer peanuts in it instead of the usual nuts ( I believe Walnuts or Pecans) that have been in it every other time I’ve ordered it. Is this something that just this local Dairy Queen has done to save money or are all of them doing it now?

Hi, Kenny! I am sorry for your disappointment! Our Peanut Buster Parfait has always been made with Spanish Peanuts, as is our Buster Bar. We do have a Pecan Mudslide that is made with pecans. Perhaps that is what you were thinking of when you ordered the Peanut Buster Parfait?

Mea Culpa. I am sorry that I forgot about flavors of blizzards and mustard or not, relish, pickle or not etc

You are absolutely correct, that is exactly what I was thinking of when I ordered the Parfait. Thank you for the prompt response and for clearing my mind. I am a happy Dair Queen customer once again!

I know this question has already been asked, but I figure showing interest may prompt consideration of bringing back my all-time fave treat – is there any chance of the cotton candy blizzard returning? Whenever it was the blizzard of the month, my husband would buy many at a time so we would have some to enjoy even after they were gone….So sad they didn’t have it this summer!

MLBH – There is always a chance, and at the same time, there are no current plans for the Cotton Candy Blizzard to return. I am so sorry we’ve discontinued a flavor you love so much!

I see that other posters have mentioned this, but to show you that this flavor is obviously sorely missed:

Please let whoever is in charge of determining blizzard flavor offerings that MY WHOLE FAMILY MISSES THE COTTON CANDY BLIZZARD! :) We looked forward to every June here in Ky, when we would try to get one every few days. Why couldn’t it just become a regular offering?
Thanks,
Steff

I am sorry, Brandy! I do no know of any plans for the return of the Key Lime Pie Blizzard Flavor Treat.
