I discovered Michael Keller's audio blog through Mike Fruchter's blog, which I discovered from Adam Singer's blog.

I am listening because I feel I have a lot to learn from the digital media techniques Dairy Queen is implementing. As a recent graduate of Marketing and a new comer to PR/social media/marketing I think I can learn from Michael Keller and officers like him who are striving to make use of the ever expanding social media world, and relating it to brand awareness, image, and trust.

[...] Even though DQ still runs TV spots, and likely print ads too, their commitment to connecting with their customers in the digital space comes across loud and clear. They’ve got something to say and they say it in a voice that is authentic and believable. DQ’s voyage into digital and social territory is nicely spoken to by Chief Brand Officer Michael Keller on a podcast here.
Hi, Lee! I'm so sorry to take so long to respond to your question, and it's a great one. Yes, DQ stores and restaurants used to hand out the aluminum tokens with kids' meals, and it was years ago. We stopped using them about 10 years ago completely, and many DQ stores began to phase them out even before that. I hope this helps! Carolyn

Other Topic!
I have an aluminum DQ token which is good for one free 5oz Sundae.
Can you tell me how old this token might be? When was it issued? If you do not know can you find out for me. It would be appreciated.
Thanks/Lee
