Thanks, hard scooped ice cream has always been a regional offering. It is not a required menu item so the majority of our stores do not offer this product. Though since most of our stores are independently owned and operated, you can feel free to tell your local store’s management about your desire for this product and they may start carrying it.

several years ago you made a royal treat made with soft serve, fudge, hard chocolate shell topping and almonds. i cant for the life of me remember what it was called but it was my absolute favorite!! any idea?

Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately Butterscotch is no longer a required menu offering in our stores. Though, I love it too! If you ask your local, Windsor store-they might be willing to rethink their decision to discontinue this topping flavor.

I live in Windsor, Ontario and I’m so sad to find out that DQ has discontinued butterscotch topping for sundaes I used to live in Barrie, Ontario and one location still has the butterscotch available. I seriously hope they bring the topping back – too many people love it!!!!
