I will NEVER forget being in Grade One and going on a Field Trip to the local DQ! They took us in the back, showed us how everything worked AND of course, gave us all an ice cream cone. After an hour on the tramps. my friends and I would delight in a big chocolate coated cone...mmmmmm. Now, as an 'oldster' (over 65) DQ is on my comfort food list. I don't just go there in the warm months; it's a favourite year round. Whenever I need a 'pick-me-up' I can rely on DQ to have a treat that will suit the moment.
