The $3, $4 or $5 Question of the Day
Posted by PR Wonk under Eats & Treats on
Even though it’s been more than 20 years since I entered the hallowed halls of a college institution, I still remember when, during the first day of a semester of class, my philosophy professor introduced himself to the stundents and asked each of us this question: “If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be and why?”
To this day, I am still perplexed by that rather odd, seemingly random inquiry. However, I guess it worked as an ice breaker, and I somehow felt more secure sitting among all the oaks and walnut trees in that class.
As the Dairy Queen® system embarks on our first-ever value menu (better known as Sweet Deals), which is intended to save you some hard earned cash and give you the ability to exercise your freedom of choice, I would like to pose a similar question:
If you could magically turn yourself into one of the nine deliciously irresistible, scrumptiously tantalizing items on our Sweet Deals menu, which soft serve or hot food product would you choose to be and why? Please remember, penmanship and creativity count!

I love it!
I would be the chicken wrap. Because we’re both mellow yet fun and full of surprises.
Here’s a better question. The ad claims there are over 20,000 combinations that can be made. How do they come up with that number?
Funny you should ask, because on March 17, “mathman” had the same question. You can see the explanation if you visit the February 25 post, We’ve Got A Sweet Deal For You! JT replied on March 17 (8th comment from the end) on how our DQ math wizards came up with that number.
I would be the dip cone. A sweet but strong exterior holding a sweet treat on the inside. Beware: If you take a bite, you will get hooked.
I hope this is where we leave the post-108 blizzards! I think, it was hard to hear.
