We visited DQ in Boise City, Ok. on Saturday June 23rd 2012 between eight and nine pm. We were driving to Guyman, Ok, after a vacation in Co. Flies swarmed our bodies biting our legs and we were constantly swishing them away. They were three or four dead flies next to the window I was sitting beside. When my 21 year old daughter went to get her money back after waiting about 45 minutes for an order; she was told it was ready. It was at that she say flies on her food they were about to serve. The employees on duty were disgruntled with each other, and that was apparent through their snapping at each other with snippy talk. My daughter got our money back. My husband and I had paid. They came out to the van and said they had give up. We hade left earlier to sit in the van because of the flies. We stopped there for a milk shake and a meal. Never again, at that location. When I called the location to complain, they seemed very interested in the name of the person on duty. I gave them the description of the person I had contact with, and they asked for that person's name. I didn't order anything, so I didn't get the employee's name. So it seemed they were too interested in who it was. They had the schedule. What was that all about? She also implied that her employees got along well, and that the average time to get an order back was about five minutes. She seemed to think my story wasn't true. She even disagreed with whether we were actually at that location. Give me a break. I wasn't asking them for compensation of any kind. My only motive is knowing how germ spread with flies. I am calling the local health department in the city tomorrow. Fly swats should have been used, but they were busy. Who was there to swat? What a bad experience for a franchise that is usually so good.
